Vietnam is now actively receiving foreign corporations, including Japanese corporations, while also sending much of its labor force overseas. At the same time, with the expansion of Japanese companies have come cultural conflicts related to labor-management relations and recruitment. Vietnam National University, in Ho Chi Minh City, which has become the hub for research cooperation among various Vietnamese universities, is indispensable for resolving these problems.
