Introduction

　Japanese media carries news on Muslims in Europe, however, it is not well recognized how is the life of Muslims staying in Japan, and how they view Japan. The Muslims evaluate Japan in a different light from that Europeans do, and they regard Europe and Japan as different societies. Dr. Samir Nouh, the leading expert, will lecture the first contact between Muslims and Japan, society, faith, and issues of Muslims staying in Japan. The discussion is also expected to contribute on immigration studies.
