Prospective students I am interested in hearing from prospective students who are looking to investigate various aspects of language-in-use such through research approaches such as conversation analysis, discourse analysis or pragmatics, especially as they relate to applied linguistics, language education and bilingualism (e.g., studies of social interaction, identity-in-interaction, discourse analysis of teaching materials, code-switching).
